It's all about making a clear pathway to a long-term career.

We understand the importance of creating a pathway for Support Workers to find employment after completing their training certifications and we want to support that process. Through our matchmaking functionality, RTOs now have an additional resource for finding their students placement opportunities with Providers, by creating a Placement Profile in their profile.

Additionally, Support Workers who are looking to start their career in the support sector can search available courses from a RTO that they want to work with. Existing Support Workers can view courses that would further develop their skills and make them more attractive to hiring Providers.

RTO Profile Features include:

  • List available courses in Disability, Aged Care and Early Childhood

  • Create a work placement profile to get matched with Providers

  • Identify new student leads who are looking for additional training

Registered Training Organisation Profile FAQs

What is a Registered Training Organisation?
A Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is an ASQA approved group, who teach nationally recognised training in Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. Related to the care sector, these courses include Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging and Disability), Certificate IV in Disability, Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and more. Within the disability support sector, most hiring Providers require at least a Certificate III in Individual Support for their support staff.
How does Tender Australia help RTOs with placement opportunities?
If a RTO is looking for placement support, they can create a Placement Summary, which tells Providers on Tender Australia that there is an opportunity to take on students to complete their 120 hours of training. This gives Providers the chance to connect with future Support Workers and build relationships, which may lead to future employment opportunities. Tender Australia can also help RTOs and Providers make connections for both immediate and future placement opportunities.
What information can RTOs share on their profiles?
Registered Training Organisations can highlight their course offerings in the Care sector, including start dates, delivery method and if the course is government funded or subsidised. Allowing RTOs to share as much information about their courses gives them an additional platform to not only showcase their course offerings but give a targeted audience the opportunity to inquire about a specific course opportunity. RTOs can also create a Placement Summary, helping their students make placement connections with available Providers.
Why are RTO profiles on Tender Australia?
To meet the immediate and future demand for support workers in Australia, RTOs are tasked with teaching those students the skills required to provide the best care to their clients. Tender Australia wants to give those RTOs an additional platform to not only match their students with hiring Providers, but also help identify placement opportunities, which is needed before completing their training certificates. Additionally, RTOs can showcase their available courses and connect with interested students, who want to get additional training and add to their professional development as a Support Worker.
Can RTOs connect with potential new students?
Yes! Registered Training Organisation users can see existing Support Worker profiles and connect if those Support Workers are Willing to Enrol in any required or additional training courses. RTOs can also send a Couse Offer to a Support Worker, to inform them of a promotion or discounted course offering.
